Directional units direct air flow too hard to reach areas. These units are attached to air movers and typically consist of hoses and manifolds. Directional units can be used to move air under cabinets, inside walls, or used for hard wood floors.
Although hard wood floors are rarely salvageable directional units can force air between the wood and groove joints allowing the floors to dry from under their protective coatings. Typically quarter round and sometimes baseboards have to be removed to gain access to the board endings. Directional units are often used in conjunction with dehumidifiers.
